At Least, He Seems To Me
Like a creature yet unseen
A puzzle piece of mystery
Mind full of complexity
At least, he seems to me.
Inside, comprised of twists and turns
The map of which, still, to learn
Seeking to leave no corner unturned
At least, he seems to me.
Contrary in all he may do or say
Cannot help it, just made that way
Forever in this, he will remain
At least, he seems to me.
Accordingly composed of contradictions
Sometimes hard to see his wishes
Like sun and moon, in opposition
At least, he seems to me.
Oblivious, yet aware of minute things
Analytical to see what they mean
A revelation through spastic thinking
At least, he seems to me.
Views himself, straight simplicity
To others, a study in perplexity
Truth be told, quite fascinating
At least, he seems to me.
And yet a riddle he may be
Never ceasing to astound me
Something pulls me in so deep
At least, he seems to me.
