Always Remember--Teddy
Your brown, soft fur
kept me warm on cold nights.
Now, your just a tangled mess,
with raggedy curls
and am itchy, red-and-green scarf.
We always huddled close,
blanket after blanket kindling us.
Heat from the vent hit our faces,
and the stars beamed
like a great nightlight.
You were alway my favorite,
no matter what my parents bought me.
Your eyes stopped shining
and your scarf scratched my chin,
but you were still Teddy.
I love you, Teddy.
I always will.
I love you, Teddy
