her memories
They all come flowing back
In a nick of time, like that
When I’m alone and thinking.
My heart aches for the old times
Freedom, fun
So many places to run,
Fresh air in my face
Fun times in any place.
In this moment ,
Time is frozen.
In my mind
I’m all alone
No where to go
No where to hide
It’s so cold
It seems like an eternity
Yet nothing is growing old
Who knows what I feel
I’m sure no one
Let’s keep it real
Then I see their faces
So happy
So bright
And this feeling
Oh so right
There’s no replacement
But now all of my memories are gone
I’m back in the dark stillness of my basement
