Ice pond
As I amble across the field, enjoying the fresh cool breeze,
a boy sudden caught my attention and makes me freeze.
He sits calmly besides the river,
Giving the poor fish a shelter.
In curiosity I move a step closer,
Ask his name for his a stranger.
Slowly closer and closer as I get,
My heart beats in a rhythm I can’t forget
I can feel the blood rushing through my cheeks,
Causing me to skid in a little creek.
Felt so ashamed, hope he doesn’t saw,
I told myself “Oh, what a show!”
As I lift my head that was buried in shame,
In my surprise there you came.
I don’t know what’s with you,
But you captured me in an instant, it’s for sure.
