Kiss the Rain in my Flip Flops
I never thought it possible
Till I stood in the drip drops
To find it was quite plausible
To kiss the rain in my flip flops
The moon’s soft shimmer
Dances on the rain in the sky
Its sweet touch sends a shiver
Through my lips I cannot deny
It was gentle
Cool to the touch
Its sound was so instrumental
I have missed this sound so much
I am kissing the rain
As it falls from the clouds
Stealing my pain
Leaving it in shrouds
A slight grin spreads across my face
With a mischievous tone
In a familiar trace
And all along I have known
That it is possible
To stand in the drip drops
That it is very plausible
To kiss the rain in my flip flops
