Forever, maybe
An unstoppable force comes across an unmovable object.
They fall in love and stay in place forever.
Once every now and then, there's a moment of doubt.
A wonder as to why they stay in place.
If love truly is the ultimate force,
then should they not move in one direction or another?
Everything must be taken into account.
Fate, what if they're meant to stay where they are?
The outside world may not tamper if they stay right here.
What if in unison, they stepped to the left,
as though the universe were doing an eternal waltz.
Every single thing moving in time.
Would anybody notice?
Would love have finally met it's match?
What if with that step, the clouds moved too quickly,
absorbed all of the oceans water,
and rained on only them.
Rain for forever, or maybe just a while,
depending on the music,
depending on the next step of the dance.
Has the word love finally met it's match?
Forever?
