Grandma I was thinking of you today and a smile creped across my face.
Remembering all the things you taught me like to always keep my head up.
I remember you always saying “God is going to make a way”.
To see me getting straight A’s made you so proud.
I thought about those nights were we just sat at the table and talked.
I remember talking back to my mom and you saying “GIRL YOU BETTER STOP RIGHT THERE”.
I remember all the goodness in me although it may not always show.
You played a very important part in my life and I just thought you should know.
My life is full of memories that we shared together,
No one could ever buy any of those special moments we’ve had together.
A even through I’m growing up I will always be GRANDMA’S BABY. :)
