Hold on
Fire may consume the structure but it cant burn the memories
They stay in your mind bright and alive
They hang floating suspended in space like a feather and a simple gust of wind can blow them away if you don't hold on, hold on
They are ghost trapped in this world always overlooking the crime
Haunting You
If you don't hold on, hold on
They will be whisk away in the sands of time
Lost
If you don't hold on
Hold on
The dust will be swept away into the attic never to be seen again if you don't hold on, hold on
The puppets strings will be clipped sending them falling to the floor
Broken
Never to be picked up again
If you don't hold on
No matter the sadness or the terror that strikes your heart like taking a bullet
You must hold on to the happy, the love, and the knowledge that there is always someone there for you
Embrace the pain
If the pen should break and the ink will stain never to be cleaned up
If you don't hold on, hold on
Or else the memories of happy stored in the crystal ball will tumble to the floor and can't be put back together or found
Shattered
lost
if you don't hold on, hold on
