I was your number one fan
admirer from afar
for five years I waited for you
to see what was right in front of your eyes.

That all ended today
when I finally heard the truth
and a little bird clued me in
to see what was right in front of
my eyes.

Now you and I are equal
we both know the truth
maybe we can just stay friends,
but we need to see what is right in front of
our eyes.
