Archery
Standing straight
Concrete stance
Raising the bow
I feel
Powerful
Deadly
Strong
Lift the bow
Nock the arrow
Wrap my fingers
Around the string
Fingers burning
Muscles aching
Sore after many hours of practice
I push through it all
For one last shot
Pull back steadily
Concentrate
Aim with accuracy
I feel like Robin Hood
I relax my grip
On the leathery string
The arrow whistle for only a second
It hits the target
In the blink of an eye
All the pain was worth it
Bulls-Eye
