This Is The World

The world is this nation, desolate and poor-
Blind-
stumbling along
muttering ridiculous incantation,
pleading for the riches of another
desperate man,
wandering and sick-
the world runs with bare feet
on bare ground,
around and around and around
sketching circles into the hide
of the earth which garns it.
