It takes a lot
Why is it.
When I joke around with friends
They notice the pen marks I make
To seem "emo"
But they don't notice
The scars the ink covers
What will it take?
For someone to care.
Someone to realize something is wrong
What will it take
For them to get me some help.
Because i'm afraid to ask myself.
Knowing anyone who could help wont
They'll just push me aside
Forget about me.
Again, as always.
Just a phase.
Just hormones.
Now i'm wondering.
Will it take something drastic?
To make them see something's wrong.
Am i willing to go that far?
Please.
Realize something is wrong.
Depression isn't a fad
Clearly it takes a lot

Glad to hear that. I hope the website helps.
Cheers.
yeah, I'm glad too. This poem is about something really terrible, and it saddens me how rampant teenage depression is out there. Poetry is a great stress reliever, I'm glad you like my poem and I hope you can get yourself some help (if you haven't already).

Glad that your getting help(:!! This poem is about something terrible i've had the same "pen marks" i found comfort in poetry its a great stress reliever....this poem is well written.
Please don't be afraid to ask someone for help, even if it's a hotline or a website.
You're brave enough to ask for help in a poem.
Sometimes people are really thick and self centered, so they don't realize right away that one of their freinds, or children, or siblings needs help.
When I'm in need of some help from my peers I go to TeenHelp.org
Don't give up.
Maybe this will relate to someone reading out there.
There is another way out
I just can't find it
