Rewind With You

We have all said it
Or at least thought about it once
Can I rewind?
Go back to the moment
It went by too fast
It is now only a faint memory wrapped in my mind
Ready to be reborn and true
So why can’t I do as much?
Fulfill my end of the bargain
I think about it night and day
But it just isn’t the same as being in it
With you
I remember less and less everyday
It tickles the inner workings of my mind
It taunts me
But I can’t get mad
If I could rewind to that moment
I would never move forward
