Pointless, Irrational Fear
I suppose this is you
Wrapped up in a nutshell
Something you wish everyone could see
Yet hide deep within
At the same time while all around you
Things fall apart
Even as they get better, and surely they do
There's something else deep inside of you
You don't want any negative
You want to cut the losses
And there is nothing wrong with that
But you do not have to be afraid
For loss will come and loss will go
Much like people do
But if you need a point of promise
A rock that will hold still by you
A tree rooted in the corners of your mind
A shoulder to cry on
You have nothing but to look my way
And I'll always offer you guidance
Forever
Until my last breath
Don't be afraid.
