I stare out
Into the icy abyss of ignorant lives
And contemplate my own meager existence
Of the time spent
Sucking down packaged poison
And embrace the blatant feelings
Of corrupt brain cells with sheer disgust
And a discontented soul
Then there are the shattered moralities
That wail and moan for the savior of us all
And though the scars break and bleed
I rejoice with eternal jubilation
For my ears burst with the accusatory words
Who carry blinding truth on their heels
Now my listless demeanor is
Shattered by the very breath
Of perfection’s true form
Now I can breathe deeply once more
And rest assured
That my soul has been saved
