Last Dance
The last dance felt like the first
And when we fought and things got worse
the heart inside still never cursed
for it remembered silent nights and gentle words
but one day arms reached down from up above
And carried me high
Never giving me a chance to stop or say good bye
I now fly to you when I want one more dance
Or just a chance to glance at what I once had
But I’m an angel and we were so young
now your new marriage is awaiting soon the bells will be dangling
she stole my dance
but for you I'll still wait here wholesomely and forever stand
I now dance holding Gods hands
Wishing they were as warm as yours
