I Am A Beam
I am a beam.
I hold up so much in my life,
And in the lives of others.
I support my friends,
As they are too weak to hold themselves up.
I balance the heavy weight of life's,
Stress, pain, sorrow, depression, and loneliness.
I gather dust,
When i am lift alone and unattended to.
I will begin to crack,
AS the weight of the wall gets heavier.
And one day the beam i call myself,
Will break, and come crashing and tumbling down.
But for now i stand strong,
As i hold, support, and balance the wall i have created
