FOR THE FIRST TIME
IT'S FINALLY TIME, I CAN OPEN UP MY EYES
FOR THE FIRST TIME I CAN LEAVE THE PAIN BEHIND
IT'S HARD TO LET GO, BUT HARDER TO HOLD ON
I CAN'T REMEMBER A DAY IN THE PAST, WHERE THE SUFFER WAS GONE
I FEEL MY CHEEKS, SURPRISED THE TEARS HAVE DRIED
IT'S TIME TO START OVER, WELCOME TO THE FIRST DAY OF MY LIFE
THERE'S ONLY SO MUCH I CAN TAKE
PINCH MYSELF TO MAKE SURE I'M AWAKE
IT'S SO HARD TO LET ANYONE IN
THINKING THEY MIGHT TEAR ME DOWN AGAIN
IT'S THE REAL THING, THAT KEEPS ME HANGING ON
THIS TIME, I'VE FIGURED IT OUT, AND NOTHING CAN GO WRONG
