Grandfather's Death
I touch my grandfather's hand,
It is cold and unsoothing.
I feel his hand for the steady heartbeat,
There is none.
I speak to him in a gentle voice,
He doesn't answer.
I shake him desperately,
He does not react.
His lively spirit left the room...
My grandfather is dead.
