Hope the things were a little better,
Hope the road divided a little after,
Just hope that we stayed another moment together.
That shrill cry still prickling my heart deep down,
And those eyes with tears running all over the face
And the one that felt like blood
Yes, blood colder than ocean
Hope I’d never seen that …
