They Act So Blind
Mirrors crashing all around
My weakness is here to see
My tears are drying on the ground
I’m begging on my knees
People walk by laughing
Or furrowing their brows
They watch my silent cracking
For as long as their hearts allow
They take pleasure in my misery
And smile at my pain
Laugh and jeer so bitterly
They drive themselves insane
This is the order of our kind
We on the bottom suffer
And those on top act blind
As if they are so much tougher
