Forest Slumber

Sun filtered through foliage,
Mist glittered on shades of emerald.
Towers of tanned strength broke the ether of my reverie,
Breathe my gentle soul,
The earth rushes into my veins,
Rich nourishment.
Trill of feathered kindred,
Slip into the steam of my dream.
Verdant haze.
Forest slumber.
