No Second Chances
Children of the world I hear, crying day by day
bruises up their arms and legs, no smile on the face
nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, daddy has been drinking again
One too many hits this time and now a childs dead
Children in my town I hear, crying day by day
no love today, no love tomorrow, no smile on the face
nowhere to go, nowhere to hide, mommy is passed out again
One too many drugs this time, mommy just flat-lined
Children in my home I hear, crying day by day
bruises up their arms and legs, no smile on the face
nowhere to go, no way to escape, mommy and daddy are fighting again
One too many words that time, I never saw mommy again.
