Our relationship
Burned to death
In the flames
Of everything that ever went wrong
Between us
All of the fighting
The crying
The yelling
The screaming
The stress
All of this
Acts as food
For them to feed
Off of each other
The more they feed
The larger the fire
Until everything
Is eaten
Until everything
Is burned
Inside and out
Until there is nothing left
Nothing but the shells
We call bodies
Because without each other
WE have absolutely
Nothing
