Lost Poems
I wrote a secret
And ripped it
Into smaller and softer
Pieces of paper
The wind took them
With my hand
And I smiled, because
Someone loved me
But it rained
And waterlogged secrets
Fell out of the sky
Like white ashes
Coating the world
In shreds of lies
And lost hopes
And waste
And I stood
Heavier from the storm
Dripping disappointment
From empty hands
