Afterlife
Do you hear those cries?
Throughout the night?
Cries of death, of pain,
Cries that we won't see home again
Don't forget, my brothers,
We are lost,
Lost in a belief not our own
Fighting for a cause all alone
Return home,
For your families weep,
Weep for the loss of a father,
That has dug a hole much too deep
But do not lose hope just yet,
For if He bade it so with a flick of his knife,
You may return home one day,
In the afterlife
