I look up into the night sky
My heart is yearning for you, but I do not know why
A flame of desperate softness lingers before you
Perfect whispers of slight surrender are not true.
I look upon my excitement without blooming
I watched you from behind the evergreen trees, looming
Unworthy splashes of dreary appear somehow not to last
As I stand, one girl alone in the greenest grass.
You left me alone
In this cold, dark world disowned
But you hold a special place in my heart
The feeling from which I can never part.
