Le Mur
There never was a time where
I was completely engulfed in anyone
And they in me,
Reciprocated.
There was only a girl,
Feigned strength and high hopes,
Punching holes into walls
And storing emotions inside.
So, even when the cold left,
It was always just me,
Taking up space and wearing you out.
I wish you stuck to me
Like the drywall you were made of.
