Reversal
He's back from work, and I'm already trembling
Imagination running wilder than the beat of my heart
Already overloaded with thoughts of him
I may just have a heart attack
The door's quiet close a few rooms away
Makes me jump with delight as I sit on the bed
Playing nervously with my fingernails
While he sets down his suitcase, much like everyday
He's getting something from the fridge now
Probably another Arizona
For I know how he loves to take those long sips
From those beautiful lips...
Again I tremble, but I am not afraid
Nor nervous, but crossing my legs in anguish
The anticipation has excited places much too fast
I cross my hands over my chest
Just as that snake of pleasure enters my breasts
His shoes hit the floor, and I hear every step
Closer closer, it does nothing but make me squirm
And then...
I see the face I've always dreamed of having
The face I have waited all day to see
The dream manifested in reality
Perfectly understanding
Are those deep brown eyes of his
So in the next seconds
When I throw myself at him
He understands.
