No Longer Yours
You say your sorry,
but I know your not.
You said you cared,
but I know you didn't.
You said you would never leave,
but you left.
For once you caught me off guard.
For once in your screwed up life
you caught me off guard
I'm going to have to say,
I didn't expect it.
You said it would last forever.
Did it last.
No of coarse not,
I honestly thought it would
I honestly thought we had something,
but we didn't
Maybe someday you will come around with that white horse
But this isn't a fairytale,
I got it right this time
And you don't belong with me
no matter what our friends say,
I won't ever be yours again.
Maybe when you decide to stop,
maybe if you grow up
then if you haven't gotten over me yet
come back
but before then,
don't.
because I can't stand
the sight of your face.
