sweet daddy ©
i love the way you care for me and how you raised me well. but how i wish my fibbing weren't so bad. fake smiles can last forever but the truth can only stretch so far. i must say though, i appreciate the way you failed to praise me and i grew up so fine on my own. i've made my own mistakes and feel the guilt and consequences harder than i should. comparisons and lack of attention to which i've grown accustom is the life i'll soon escape. remember when i said i loved you? i think i missed the echo. i won't be yours for long, sweet daddy of mine.
