Truth is...
Truth is...
The truth is I miss you.
From the long nights to the early mornings
I see your face.
The happiness I had could not be described;
I fell for you,
harder than the rock itself.
But we changed,
in a blink of an eye,
like a tornado came through and destroyed everything.
It happened.
I couldn’t believe you were really gone,
All because of the promise I broke.
I take the blame;
Now I have the hurt that can’t be described;
No longer happiness only sorrow and tears.
My heart beats cold.
The words I heard you say pierced me like a knife.
And now from the long nights to the early mornings
I continue to miss your face.
The truth is… you’re gone.
