Leave it be
The story line is unclear to me,
words are spoken in both points of view,
it leaves me hanging, unknown who to trust.
"Just leave it be, just leave it be" my head seems to speak to me.
Just leave it be,
no point in wondering what will happen.
Just leave it be.
But my heart say something,
something so unlike my head, just like the story,
my life is in two perspectives.
What I think is right,
and what I feel is right,
is so off key.
Just leave it be, just leave it be.
You and my friend,
you had your tiffs.
You left her sobbing,
cheating on her like this.
But now what I thought was true,
has turned around completely.
For even she, had said she was wrong.
Just leave it be, just leave it be.
But now I know,
how he feels about me.
My head says, just leave it be.
But my heart says,
He's here for you, you see?
Just leave it be, just leave it be.
David whispers,
"You're here for me.
Don't leave me. I like you,
don't you see? Don't leave it be,
Please come with me."
