I am a person
I am me.
If I’m Christian, Jewish or Muslim,
It doesn’t matter.
I am turned into a ratio
Depending on my region
When I die,
I become a number.
To what, It depends.
The way i die,
Becomes part of the number
The grades I get,
Are put in the system.
There no longer mine,
But what the states
Total average is.
To the world,
Im a speck in a dust storm.
Minuscule, unimportant.
I am but one, in billions in their eyes,
To me, I’m important.
I breath, I laugh
I love
To the world though, I am but a number
Ticking down to zero
