Ashes of War
Black skies
cover my eyes
Ashes all around me
like rain
Gray but lifeless
No life around to
be seen only death
Bodies of Fathers
Mothers, Infants
And Children
All thought to have been wrongdoers
But never carried a single bad
thought
They wished that love could
be the answer not violence
It never came true
For them but
It did for me
