Neverland
In the dead of night
She cries alone
She waits for a hand
But no one is home
Her past still remembers
What she tries to forget
She wants to leave this dreadful place
But not quite yet
She has friends
Do not get me wrong
Some only see one side
Others have known all along
Her struggles often scar her
Some more than others
All she needs here
Is nothing more than a godmother
In the dead of night
She cries alone
She waits for a hand
But no one is home
So she spreads her wings
Nothing more to demand
She sets her sights
On a place called Neverland
