Till Death Do We Not Part
When the old friend knocks on the door
You know nothing but to let him in
For this is not an enemy
Or a punishment for your sins
It is the start to your new beginning
The adventure does not end
It’s the commence to another chapter
Another round around the bend
You will not deny his appearance
Or his outreached hand
In that moment you know what is important
Your journey in an unknown land
Once you take his hand
There is no more fear
Your worries wash away
And your new life reappears
A faint noise of a baby crying
That baby now is you
It is time to walk a path
In a whole new pair of shoes
