Showers
Have you ever seen your reflection in bath tub water?
Me neither. Too many bubbles.
My skin turned pink.
All those freckles stood out and it reminded me of you.
Sometimes I think I hear you singing along with me while I'm in the shower. It makes me laugh.
But it's the thought that counts.
My fingernails are still turquoise blue, even after you chipped the paint off my thumb.
The scalding water is just making it worse.
When the bubbles stick to the top of the drain while the rest of the water just swirls down,
I think that's not fair.
Do you miss me yet?
