Sweet Dreams
When in your bed tonight, when there are no more lights.
When you lay on your pillow, and you think for a little.
I'd like to know,
What do you imagine? What do you dream?
What do you wonder? What do you scheme?
A forest, the sea? With the queen, having tea?
When your house becomes still, what gives you a thrill?
A pixie, a pirate, do you desire it?
I would really just love to know, when in Dreamland, where do you go?
Tell me the treasures, tell me the pleasures.
Tell me a magical story,
Of monsters and kings, and those kinds of things.
Can you now understand what I love about Dreamland?
It's all the possibilities, of sailing in the wide, blue seas.
As the story unfolds, an adventure is told.
But I just want to know, when in Dreamland, where do you go?
When I lay down tonight, and there's no more light,
When I lay on my pillow, can you tell me a little?
