Deceitful Scars
She hides the scars so he can't see the battered mess she used to be. She's so afraid that if he sees he'll try to leave. But to lie about them; it's him who will be deceived. Day by day she grows weary of seeing those marks she made in fiery, in pain. She sometimes notices he can't help but stare. She sits in silence thinking he's probably used to girls with skin so fair.
