Waiting for the City's glow
She sits on the rock at dawn
and over looks the city’s glow
She will wait there
day and night
Waiting with the robins
One day, she may leave
And run away from here
but until she finds him
She watches the city glow
She cannot leave
He must come to her
and until he does
she watches the city glow
Before the twilight,
She sees the orange
Beauty that hurts to see
one day that will be him
but now i only
watch the city’s glow
