Addicted
Cold, shiny metal
Warm against the skin
The bite is intoxicating
Reeling the poor girl down
Under the water she goes
Drowning her in pain
A sad, lonely smile
Creeps across her lips
As her addiction pulls her under
As the blood seeps through the skin
She fades away in a fog of bliss
Haunted by her past
No one reached out to her
No one tried to save her
She wasn't strong enough
To save herself
And her addiction won out
As she falls into final rest
Her smile doesn't waver
And the thing that she loves most
Is the blade that kills her
