Why Would You?
I hear you say you love him
but why would you call him those words?
If you felt that way for him
why would you scream and fight?
I love you, too, and we don't do that
so why would you do that with him?
You whisper 'I love you' to her in the dead of the night
but when the time comes, you still fight.
I hear you whisper 'I'm sorry' to her after your done
but if you meant it, why would you do it again?
I want you to be happy Momma and Daddy.
I don't want you to yell and fight.
That's what big brother and I do, not you two.
If you keep screaming you'll lose your voice,
and then how will you say 'I love you'?
