I cry
once I heard those words
the phone slipped from my hand
everything slowed down
every memory
raced through my head
"sold, sold, sold"
it echoed on, and on
how could it be
that they sold him
my one
my beloved horse
gone forever
never coming back
I heard
"kaylee whats wrong?"
but it was no more than a fly
buzzing in my ear
something tore, nawed, and ripped
through my heart
leaving a big
black
ugly hole
sliding down the wall
tears filling my eyes
my mind still racing
with the memories
I cry
