She can't bear to look at them
The faces that have caused this
She can't bring herself to look into the eyes
That are so oblivious
They go about life
No one matures
If only they knew
The pain she endures
How do you sleep at night?
Knowing the pain you cause?
How do you live with it?
Do you ever just pause?
Look at what you've become.
She's learned the hard way to shut her mouth,
Her opinions don't matter.
She knows she has to just fake a smile,
They can't see her shatter.
