For those who said they know me,
For those who said they cared,
For those who thought the answer was clear,
For those who's feelings I spared.
People everywhere state some reasons.
Maybe some real, maybe some fake.
It's only when their reason is me that there's a feeling I can't shake.
I'll be waiting, calm, serene.
My senses, ever so keen.
I'll be here when poison is a frown.
I'll be here when your world goes crashing down.
Let's listen to the laughter,
See those shining smiles.
Taste the victory, as you run for miles.
Feel the passion of something you need.
Smell the sweet aromas while you feed.
I'm still waiting, patiently at first.
Here I am, dying of thirst.
No, I don't believe this makes sense as a poem,
But these words, I thought I'd show 'em.
Yet, I'm still waiting...
