Rain gives hope
To a child waiting
At her tear-stricken
Window for
Her mom to finally
Come home,
It washes
Away all the pain,
Gives everything a
New start, a clean beginning,
A fresh start,
Rain cleans away
The mistakes of a
Person who has
Seen too much
And knows no
Better,
You can’t have
A rainbow without
The rain,
You have to wait
For all the good
Things to come, but
In the meantime
Dance In
The Rain
