The hopeless abyss
Of what was
What could be
And what is
Drowns out
Every left
Right
And forward
The terminal
But forever on-going
Empty space
Of a lonely room
A wide gap
In the what will never be
In contrast to what will be
Haunts me
Is the bane of my existence
Though the smile
Ever so perfectly
Plastered on my face
Tells a million lies
To cover up the
Long-live truth
Of a never-ending tomorrow
Swallowed up by
The yes
No
And maybe
