slam poem
School is not that bad
you get to see your friends
and then you get homework
it sucks sometimes you
don’t get it its frustrating.
Its long and it is nothing
but anxiety, confussion
and frustration and it
takes so much time
to do it.
The adrenalin rush of
when you don’t get an
assignment done and
it is late and you
feel guilty and
somewhat ashamed.
Your teacher faces you and asks
for your assignment and you
simply reply I don’t have it terror
strikes and he gives you a zero.
Your parents see your progress
report and notices you have a
zero more adrenalin pumps in
and you simply say I didn’t do it
and they are forced you to be
grounded.
You realize it is time to
be on top of things and
you start to get more organized
and no more staying up late
and before you know it
you start turning in all of
your assignments and
life is good.
