I'm a leaf
free of ties to family
Limbs of friends
And roots of the past

I blow away
The wind carrying me for days
Completely Independent

But no
I'm not
I still have ties, limbs, and roots that will not soon be forgotten

It's the wind
That's gotten me here
I'm not so
